Understanding Your Ring

This may be your first time designing a ring, and understanding the terms and what specific sections of the ring are called will help you to visualise and create the Ring of your dreams. Read a short guides below to help.

Band

A band is the circular part of a ring that wraps around your finger. It can be plain, engraved, or set with stones, depending on the style. The width, shape, and material all play a part in how comfortable and eye-catching it is.

Pavé

Pavé is a jewellery setting where tiny gemstones are set closely together, covering the surface like a sparkling cobblestone path. The stones are held in place by tiny beads of metal, making the ring look as if it’s paved with diamonds. It’s a stunning way to add extra shimmer without overwhelming the design

Main Setting

The main setting is the part of a ring that holds the central diamond or feature stone in place. It not only secures the gem but also enhances its brilliance, shape, and overall look. Different settings, like prong or bezel, can change how the stone catches the light and how secure it feels
